Thank you so much for taking such good care of our son who died in March 2021. For your kindness, calmness and professionalism. You helped to make an unbearable situation a little easier. Thank you for looking after all of us.

I wish to express both my gratitude and thanks for the kindness and compassion shown to the family. Keeping us informed of the respect undertaken to my Father in their care and giving family support leading up to my Father’s funeral. Nothing was too much trouble.
On the day they performed their professional duties admirably. They gently guided the family and attendees at this most difficult of times. I would not hesitate in recommending the Co-Operative Funeral Directors at Stoke Road for their services.
    Response from The Co-operative Funeralcare
Thank you so much for your kind response. Our Stoke Road team and in fact the whole of Cooperative Funeralcare are always delighted to receive such positive appreciation for the support we give to families during their time of need. Our organisation and the individuals within it all work with the aim of supporting the bereaved with dignity and care, to make the funeral process as stress free as possible. Thank you for your recommendation.

On the 16-10-2019 I went to my dear friend Alisons funeral, we all had mixed feelings & different emotions as to how she passed, a very sad day for everyone more so for her parents.I felt quite alarmed when the funeral director, in a loud voice instructed "the pallbearers" RIGHT READY TEAM " to remove the coffin from the hearse . How disrespectful ! We all gathered into the chapel, listening to the entrance music, not enough seats for all, but plenty of room in the standing area. The funeral director was stood in front of the coffin and in a very loud voice, & making eye & head gestures to the mourners at the entrance to move towards the standing area. Hence we could not hear the music that was being played. HOW disrespectful !!!! Why did he not show more respect & go to the entrance to guide the rest of the mourners towards the standing area? In a more dignified approach not the sort of behaviour I would expect to see from a company as large as the co-op. I have never seen such poor behaviour at any funeral service as I witnessed yesterday. I'm absolutely appalled & disgusted.
